My Comments: I think we stitchers have been so clever: we have repurposed stilettos into laying tools and here is a perfect little ivory example from the era of Jane Austen. For people working on my Pride and Prejudice Needle Book and Book Mark, this would fit perfectly. Look at the hole at the top of the stiletto -- perfect for attaching a fob that would match the Needle Book.

My Comments: A pretty gold fluted band on a Simons Bros silver thimble in great condition. It is always interesting to me that all the different American thimble makers made variations on this design and the different interpretations make an interesting thimble collection. (I indulged in collecting a number of them).

My Comments:  All  the attention to detail that went into stitching this little needle book, all the tiny perforated paper made expressly for needle books. I love the colors and the small bows, and of course there is the added bonus of the date.

My Comments: Notice the age of these scissors and their beautiful silver sheath, yes, at least 210-220 years old now. On the slightly early side, I would still say they would fit well with Pride and Prejudice Needle Book grouping.

My Comments: I love how this little mother of pearl fish silkwinder look with the silk wound on him between mouth and tail. He looks so sleek. One interesting collection of needlework tools is related to fish shapes -- I know Carolyn herself loves fish needlework tools.

My Comments:  An umbrella needle case still with its little Stanhope Peep Show, this one with four miniature  photos of Cherbourg. Do you remember the Umbrellas of Cherbourg? Here is a predecessor in great condition!

My Comments:  With the advent of train travel, all these small souvenirs of different places people visited became very  popular, this one a pindisk from the English seaside village of Bournemouth.

My Comments: How pretty is this ivory needlecase with its interesting crescent decorations. As I've said so often and will probably say to many more times, I can't imagine carving the details we find in these small pieces.

Limit: only 1 of each.
