Snow Maiden's Little Sisters

Here are Matryoshkas

It took me over a year to make Snow Maiden and when I finished her, I thought, why don't I make little sisters in the forms of Matryoshkas (small Russian Nesting Dolls).

First I made the largest of the three (#1 above) and I sold her last October in EWeek 2023. Now I am bringing her back with options:  You may order the complete kit OR the Instructions and Beads  (no threads, no canvas).

Then I made Middle Matryoshka, and then Smallest Matryoshka, a set of three. I am offering Middle Matryoshka 2 and Smallest Matryoshka 3 for the first time. You may order the complete kit OR the instructions and beads (no threads, no canvas.

Prices include shipping and insurance.

Matryoshkas Descriptions

Matryoshka 1, the largest, is 6" tall x 3 1/8" wide.

Matryoshka 2, the middle, is 5 1/4" tall  x 2 7/8" wide.

Matryoshka 3, the smallest, is 4 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" wide.

The Matryoshkas can be made into ornaments or framed. I  decided to frame mine, so I made all three on 10" tall x 8" wide white congress cloth.

Threads include 6 colors of Soie d'Alger (a 7-ply silk), 4 colors of floss, Pearl cotton #12, Burmilana and 1 spool of Kreinik braid.

Beads and Pearls in four tiny baggies are keyed to the instructions.

Instructions for largest Matryoshka are 21 pages plus 3 Oversize Graphs, a title page and a color copy of my Matryoshka.

Instructions for middle and smallest Matryoshkas are each 19 pages, plus 3 Oversize Gaphs, a title page and a color copy of each Matryoshka.

Please note there is only a front, not a back, although making one would be easy to make if you wish.

Each Matryoshka is available in Blue or Purple.

Why delivery in January instead of now?

I ran out of time. I opted to write Dressing Henry instead of making kits and Henry sopped up all my time between EWeek 2023 and now.

All three are proofed and I have all the supplies. I just need some extra time to put the kits together.

And besides that, don't you think they will make a splendid little project for January when the snow and cold are everywhere? A bit of a lift.
