Snow Maiden's Little Sister

Here is Matryoshka

It took me over a year to make Snow Maiden and when I finished her, I thought, why don't I make her a little sister in the form of a Matryoshka, that is a small Russian Nesting Doll.

I had often wanted to make one and my chance was now.

Here she is, Snow Maiden's Little Sister: I juggled the techniques and made Little Sister who could be an Ornament or a small framed piece beside Snow Maiden.

Matryoshka Description

Snow Maiden's Matryoshka is 6" tall x 3 1/8" wide on a 10" x 8" piece of white congress cloth. She can be made into an ornament or framed. I  decided to frame mine.

Threads include 6 colors of Soie d'Alger (a 7-ply silk), 4 colors of floss, Pearl cotton #12, Burmilana and 1 spool of Kreinik braid.

Beads and Pearls in four tiny baggies are keyed to the instructions.

Instructions are 21 pages long plus 3 Oversize Graphs, a title page and a color copy of my stitched Matryoshka.  Please note there is only a front, not a back, although making one would be easy to make if you wish.
