My Comments:  We modern stitchers are so clever, we've repurposed the beautiful stilettos of the past into today's laying tools. With the classical motifs on a wonderful silver handle, imagine how elegant a laying tool this one will be.

My Comments: Turned pattern on a simple but elegant bone needle case to adorn any box of supplies. In super condition. Very nice indeed.

My Comments: These are some of my favorite scissors, as I love guilloche (a type of enamel). Usually this scissors are extremely hard to come by and very expensive. I always like tools like these: they have a history of a previous needlewoman who loved and used them. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I have a thimble collection of well loved and used thimbles.

My Comments:  Can you imagine the skill it took to carve this pincushion? I always marvel at these little elegantly carved needlework tools and this one is no exception. They are among my favorites in my own collection.

My Comments: I remember the first coin silver thimble I bought long ago, and this one is reminiscent of it. Coin silver thimbles as a rule are a tad bit earlier and quite a bit rarer than their sterling cousins. Excellent price for one!

My Comments: Dual function, doubling as a needlecase and a stiletto. I would like to use this as a laying tool because the needles inside would add a bit of weight to the laying tool.

My Comments: If nobody buys this, it will be mine. I absolutely love its fine handmade features, so tiny, so delicate. I was trying to find a way to justify buying it now, but not fair to the sale, but one hour into the sale, it is fair game if its not gone!  I shall be watching....

My Comments: I always love steel scissors, they are so sturdy and the designs so elegant. This pair is no exception, with its nice sheath. Great addition of larger scissors for tasks small ones don't accomplish well.
