Above a conversion to winter blues. I created the Blues in PhotoShop; on the right are the threads and I have included the list of Blues and a color copy of the conversion with the pattern. Know that the colors are not an exact match with the conversion and I have not stitched the design in these threads.
On the left is my conversion to purples. I created the Purples in PhotoShop; below are the threads and I have included the list of Purples and a color copy of the conversion with the pattern. Know that the colors are not an exact match with the conversion and I have not stitched the design in these threads.
Inspired by Elizabeth: A Geometric
This geometric is on a 13" x 13" piece of white 18 mesh canvas. I stitched the design in Soie d'Alger, Planet Earth silk, Pearl cotton and Kreinik braids and ribbons plus Bijoux. The design at its widest points is approximately 8.5" x 8.5".
It looks like the design has beads but there are no beads, just stitching to look like beads.
Last year when I looked carefully at the design, I thought it would colorize well into the blues winter and purples of winter's shadows because the design had sufficient contrasts of light and dark.
The instructions are 24 pages long, plus a color photo of the Elizabethan colorway and a title page. The pattern includes a supplement of colors for Blue and Purple and photos of each of my colorizations.
Last year I offered the design in my sale and do not often offer a design two years in a row but here it is by popular request.
