Anne Boleyn Needle Book, Description

Henry's second wife and the mother of Elizabeth 1.

Once I started work on Henry VIII I knew I would add Anne Boleyn. I adapted the needle book from the well-known portrait of Anne Boleyn from the National Gallery (shown above).

The kit includes Soie d'Alger, Kreinik braid, Pearl cotton, Impressions and three pieces of white congress cloth (two 8" x 10" and one 6" x 8". In addition, 84 glass pearls in two sizes, tiny gold balls and gold seed beads.

The instructions are 31 pages long plus a title page and a color copy of three views of the Needle Book.  The instructions include all stitching patterns and complete finishing directions. Finishing is very simple.

Also available as add-ons: A Kit for 2 Fobs, Black 'Elizabeth' Scissors, just 2 3/4" tall, and a JohnJames needlepacket of 25 needles plus a needle threader.
